Depart 08h00 for Tsitsikamma (Khoisan word meaning, place of abundant waters). After almost 2 hours you will have your first stop at the Storms River Bridge. This bridge is the world's highest single span bridge. After your tea break, we continue driving to the Big Tree, a yellow wood tree that is over 900 years old.
Join us as we explore the history of the Friendly City (that is a popular nickname for Port Elizabeth). We start off from pre-colonial times to the arrival of the Europeans on our shores, and conflicts that ensued, including the longest colonial wars (1871-1878) ever fought by Britain.
